I had the honor of bringing back New and current patients for assessment. Taking vitals, history, verifying past and current medications. I also worked threw EMR sending medications to patients pharmacy, working on Prior authorizations and updating charts with current patient status. Other job duties included administration of allergy skin test, allergy shots, and performing PFT and nebulizer treatments to Asthma patients. I made it my job to find new and helpful ways of organizing the office and creating more efficient ways to complete things such as prior authorizations, nebulizer requests and medication refills as simple as possible. My motivation is to know I can make a difference in the lives of our patients while gaining more experience in the medical field.
