Being the first artwork coordinator for Trinity, my objective is to streamline the creation and delivery of product packaging, by setting up a system, resulting in tangible differences, like getting products to market faster than before, all that is done with quality reviews and systems. This is being maintained by owning the centralised packaging content and information databases and artwork filing to ease packaging artwork creation. My main function is to control the traffic flow as well as review all packaging components from concept to print for every product. These include foils, cartons, labels, tubes, vials, etc. I work on and maintain the traffic flow of new products and the lifecycle management of the existing products with the company brand and regulations at the top of those changes. Exceptional communication skills are needed when dealing with cross-functional teams. Interactions with both in house and external Supply chain., Marketing, Designers, and multiple local and international manufacturing sites. A key component is multitasking and prioritizing items. Being flexible in the change of priorities. I have great organizational skills and face and problems head-on, looking for solutions. Attention to detail is key in reviewing the material. The biggest timesaving/shortened review time tool implemented is a clear concise brief to the designers for set up. This includes the technical requirements as well as the regulatory requirements. If this pandemic has taught me anything, it is that I am reliable and able to work remotely without supervision. I am a clear communicator that works well in the ever-changing packaging environment.

Main Duties: To set up a streamlined artwork process to ensure compliance with the product registration and local legislation. This includes new launch artwork as well as existing artwork changes. I coordinate and review, all packaging material. I create the mock up draft stage artwork to provide to the design house and review the artwork as well as coordinate the process all the way to print ready finalization stage. I ensure both technical and regulatory information is reflected correctly and ensure compliance with the product registration and local legislation. (The South African Health Products Regulatory Authority - SAHPRA) guidelines. I aid in the translation process, as well as ensuring the key growth drivers are managed carefully and expectations are met. I also work cross functionally, interacting closely with QA, marketing, supply, the manufacturing sites, the design houses and regulatory to ensure product and priority alignment. Other Duties: I assist with administrative tasks within regulatory the greater business.
