Hi! I'm Claudia, a recent Environmental Science graduate with Griffith University. After having wished to pursue nursing and medicine, I've finally set my sights on Environmental Management. As clique as it sounds, I'd love to change our world. Save the environment. Preserve our ecosystems and protect our wildlife. Whilst it is difficult to employ someone with relatively no experience, I am eager to gain real life practice within the industry to better prepare myself for professional work. Throughout my formal education, current employment and volunteering, I have gained essential skills for the industry. During school, I learnt about critical thinking and presentation skills. Hospitality taught me interpersonal skills, time management and problem solving. As for volunteering, I became more culturally aware and effective when working in a team.The skills I have gained thus far have provided me a foundation for professional practice. I will make certain to apply them, as well as other skills and experiences I am yet to learn, to my current studies and future employment. Whilst it is unclear what particular occupation I wish to pursue, I know my heart is set on Conservation.
