Cláudia, graduated in 2007 at Estoril School of Hospitality and Tourism (ESHTE) has been working on event management and production since 2002.Cláudia was a live production assistant on TVI's Sunday afternoons, worked for companies on brand activation, children's entertainment and, while studying, also managed and organised academic events.Further on, Cláudia worked 8 years in the largest tourism company in Portugal, focused on Meetings & Incentives at TopAtlântico. During this time, she dealt with corporate events across the globe as well as in her home country. At the same time, her activity as a freelance event producer, started growing throughout multiple collaborations, of which is important to underline her role on the audience management of more than 5 editions of NOS Alive festival (biggest music festival in Portugal), as well as in Meo Arena (largest venue in town).ESHTE invited Cláudia in 2014, to became a deputy professor in the scientific areas of management, tourism and leisure, teaching undergraduate and master's courses related to event organisation and strategic event management. In this academic path, Cláudia also invests in scientific research around this area. 2015 was the birth of MUDE - which rapidly turned to be a prestigious and recognised events agency specialised on productions for the corporate market, with Cláudia leading the company since then.On March 2020, just in the middle of the pandemic, she launched an idea that was been developed since 2015: the 1st Portuguese digital database of venues seen by the eyes of an event manager: VenuesPortugal.pt was born.With 4 people connected to events and their academia, she gave voice to EventCast - the Events Podcast. Thus, in January 2022, another “baby” was born by her hands that aims to share and give visibility to all those who work hard in this event industry. The purpose is to contribute to spread the knowledge of all the professionals that go on air, among curious people, professionals and, above all, young students.
