Hello! My name is Claudia. I'm a young professional in communications. I am an active listener, enthusiastic storyteller and a strong communicator who is passionate about connecting with other people and helping to facilitate their success. From the first Com Arts class I took at UW that focused on the ways we communicate with one another, both interpersonally and in groups, I was hooked on communications. I went on to dive into courses on media and human behavior, gender and communication and the psychology of communication. I love analyzing speech patterns and mannerisms different people employ based on their unique backgrounds and worldviews. To me, communication is less about the channel or the message, but the people at each end of a message. I hope in my career that I am able to foster meaningful human connections while putting my creativity and writing skills to good use.
