CurrentProfessional experience at PPAC includes:- Develop and supervise all fundraising efforts including annual appeal, major gift solicitation, monthly donor program, #GivingTuesday, Annual Gala and grants for capital projects. - Oversee donor research and prospect list compilation, determine solicitation strategies, ascertain appropriate donor recognition, ensure accurate and timely record keeping. - Research potential funding sources, coordinate potential funders and appropriate program staff, prepare funding proposals, manage grants and file all necessary reporting. - Coordinate with all departments – Box Office, Education, Finance, Marketing and Programming – to effectively develop and execute PPAC’s Community Outreach and Engagement programs. - Successfully host major celebrities for PPAC’s Annual Gala including Jay Leno, Billy Crystal, Kristin Chenoweth, Steve Martin & Martin Short, Hamilton, Josh Groban and SIX – The Musical.- Manage the President’s Club, PPAC’s VIP lounge, supervise the President’s Club Liaison and oversee a complete renovation of the Club in 2019. - Participate in Board meetings, report Development activities and communicate future goals. - Assist the President with cultivation events to acquire new supporters, reward existing subscribers and develop relationships with community leaders and corporations. - Represent the Theatre at appropriate non-PPAC events as needed. - In-person and webinar training/education on development issues and industry best practices. - Active member of the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning of Rhode Island and Association of Fundraising Professionals including attendance at the AFP International Annual Conference.
