A great learning curve under great leadership in which I had the opportunity to shadow and learn from the PR Director and Director of Corporate Communications on the ins and outs of the PR Department at INTI. Through the internship, I was able to enhance my creative thinking, communication skills, interviewing and problem solving skills among others. Apart from honing my PR skills through developing press releases, speeches and messaging, and preparing competitive news reports, I was able to develop event management skills through involvement in high profile events at INTI with guidance from superiors. These events included INTI's Business Leadership Series, INTI Scholarship event, media events, annual dinner and campus festive gatherings.The highlight of this internship experience was being involved in the planning, execution and coordination of President Bill Clinton's Visit to INTI in November 2010 which paved the way for my involvement in other high profile events at INTI when I started my PR career upon graduation.
