As a young entrepreneur, I discovered the thrill of the business world at the age of 9 by selling sweets to my schoolmates at a lower price than the school tuck shop. (Simple yet effective).This early experience ignited my passion for entrepreneurship, and I've been on a mission to learn and grow ever since.My curiosity about the world and how everything ticks, especially in the tech industry, has led me to constantly seek out actionable insights on growth, tech, and business. As a result, I am always identifying tools, systems, and strategies that drive growth, streamline processes and improve overall business performance and personal productivity.After completing my Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management at the University of Pretoria, I started my first retail business (a lower-end furniture store), which ultimately closed down due to larger competitors (corporate giants), ironically undercutting me with price. However, I learned invaluable lessons that fueled my growth.Undeterred, I ventured into the franchise game, eventually opening 6 successful stores. More recently, I co-founded Glo Laser and Beauty, a company that has quickly become a leading force in the beauty industry, expanding three stores. Being interested in tech, I decided to take the challenge of expanding the laser and beauty brand into the e-commerce space. I immersed myself in everything from search engine optimization, web development, coding, email marketing, google ads and marketing in general.Having seen success in the e-commerce space, I find myself more intrigued with technology in general and how AI and machine learning have the potential to disrupt almost any industry.Naturally, this has made me interested in learning how to code and the possibilities that talking to machines can have.As I continue expanding my knowledge and interests, I enjoy sharing my experiences and learning. Through my work, I have had the privilege of helping countless entrepreneurs, friends, and businesses reach their full potential.I am always looking for new ways to share my knowledge and make a positive impact.
