My current research include the applications of carbon-based nanomaterials and metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) for chemoresistive and electrochemical sensors. I’m using different synthetic approaches (bulk chemistry, wet chemistry, top-down and bottom-up approaches). The sintered materials are intended as a sensitive layer for detecting gaseous and liquid pollutants.

Development of new self-healing systems through non-covalent interactions in aeronautical materials.In this period, I worked on the synthesis and characterization of new self-healing polymers to be mixed with epoxy resin to create composites with self-healing capabilities intended for aeronautical use.Acquired skills: synthesis and polymerization techniques, characterization techniques (TGA, DSC, UV, IR, NMR, X-ray).
