About Claudio Greco
Claudio Greco received his laurea (BEng) in Computing Engineering in 2004 from the Federico II University of Naples, Italy and his laurea magistrale (MEng) with honors from the same university in 2007, defending a master thesis entitled "Packet scheduling in UMTS/HSDPA", partially based on an internship carried out at the Faculty of Computer Science of the Facultés Universitaires Notre-Dame de la Paix, Belgium.He received his PhD in Signal and Image Processing with the mention très honorable in 2012, from Télécom ParisTech, France, defending a doctoral thesis entitled "Robust broadcast of real-time video over wireless networks".During his graduate program, Claudio Greco has served as teaching assistant and graduate student instructor for Télécom ParisTech, the IMAC Engineering School, and the University Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée.From October 2011 to June 2012, he has been a research engineer of the CNRS. From July 2012 to August 2013 Claudio Greco has been a researcher engineer of the Department of Signal and Image Processing of Télécom ParisTech. From September 2013 to September 2014, he has been a research engineer for the INRIA, working on a joint project with LSS-Supélec and Télécom ParisTech. Since October 2014, he works as an image science engineer at DxO Labs.He has been IEEE member since 2008 and serves as a reviewer for several journals (IEEE Trans. on Multimedia, on Broadcasting, and on Parallel and Distributed Systems, Elsevier Signal Processing: Image Communications, Inderscience International Journal of Communication Networks and Distributed Systems, Inderscience International Journal of Digital Media Broadcasting, etc.) and conferences (IEEE ICIP, IEEE ICASSP, IEEE MMSP, NetCod, Eusipco, etc.).His research interests include video coding, video quality estimation, multiple descriptions video, multi-view video, mobile ad-hoc networking, cooperative streaming, cross-layer optimization for multimedia, blind source separation, and network coding.
