The learning department is responsible for all aspects of the training of the association's volunteer network.As training officer, I was responsible for the organisation and coordination of the third Italian Red Cross training camp 2022. Greenpeace Italia Onlus is the association representing Greenpeace in Italy. The association campaigns for environmental protection and promotes lifestyle changes. I was responsible for maintaining and developing the volunteering and activism network, taking care of the training offer for the network, focusing on campaigning issues and soft skills, supporting the leaders of the local groups. I was selected to participate in the Italian Civil Service 2015, an Italian Government programme for the exchange of international cooperation professionals. I worked at CADEP-JMA, a Peruvian NGO dealing with the rights of indigenous communities. I had the opportunity to work on the organisational development of the NGO by organising, coordinating and promoting technical trainings based on the needs defined by the NGO's projects and with a view to developing the NGO's team. At the same time, given my in-depth knowledge of the subject, I was involved in organising and coordinating training sessions on gender issues for adolescents from rural communities, in which teachers and parents also participated.Main tasks:Organisation and management of training workshops for NGO workers;Organisation and management of workshops to train indigenous communities;Fundraising;Project design;Coordination of online volunteering;Networking in "Soy Voluntari@" Peru United Nations Volunteering Network.

I was responsible for many aspects of the National Volunteer Network, which consists of more than 600 volunteers organised in 34 local groups. Firstly, I was responsible for the selection and training of the new aspiring local group coordinator and supporting him in all his activity, especially during the first month of the group. I was part of the Green Economy research team that developed a research on Green Economy in European SMEs and designed two proposals for Horizon 2020 funds. I was responsible for the data collection for ESS (European Social Survery) Round 6 for the Pescara city area. I was in charge of the administration of the questionnaires and the evaluation of the life satisfaction of the interviewees.Through this experience I learned a lot about interpersonal relationships, how to talk to distrustful people and how to sensitise them to the cause: the interviews dealt with sensitive topics such as political and religious attitudes, so I had to learn how to establish a solid relationship with the interviewees in order to create as comfortable an environment as possible for them.I was hired as a freelancer, so I was completely autonomous in organising my work; I just had to respect deadlines. For this reason, I developed good time management and organisational skills, along with a problem-solving and results-oriented attitude.Main tasks:Managing the daily schedule of interviewees;Obtaining demographic information and data on political and social attitudes;Assessment of respondents' living conditions.
