Hi, my name is Claudio Prandoni, but people also know me as Prandas!I've been working with games since 2005 and I've been passionate about it since I was 6 years old.I'm a journalist with a degree and a postgraduate degree from Faculdade Cásper Líbero and I've written about games for various media outlets. Since November 2022, I've been working on the PR team at Theogames, serving clients such as SEGA, Nexon, Wargaming, Bandai Namco, Pearl Abyss and others.I worked for 9 years at UOL, in the Games section, where I wrote news reports, recorded narrations for videos, participated in podcasts and coordinated and presented text and video coverage of international events, with simultaneous translation from English to Portuguese. I did the same for over two years at The Enemy, Omelete's gaming portal, where I also hosted panels at CCXP 2019 in Portuguese, English, Spanish and Japanese.I also held these roles for a year at Terra, where I was also a Digital Product Specialist, focusing on social media for the portal. During my years as a reporter, I was fortunate enough to visit events around the world, such as E3 and PAX in the US, Tokyo Game Show in Japan, Gamescom in Germany and also covered events in England, France, Poland, Argentina and Canada.It was my passion for games that led me to study languages. I studied English for over 10 years and have a certificate of proficiency in the language from Cambridge University. I also studied Spanish and Japanese, at a level sufficient to use at work, and I explored a little German, but only at a basic level.I have published reviews, interviews and articles for the newspaper Folha de S. Paulo and the magazines Rolling Stone Brasil, Superinteressante and Mundo Estranho - and also for the specialized magazines Nintendo World, EGM Brasil, NGamer Brasil, Dicas e Truques para PlayStation, Revista Oficial do Xbox, OLD!Gamer and others.I have also worked on TV: for over 3 years I was a writer and host for Game Up, on ESPN Brasil, and I was also one of the editors-in-chief of the now-defunct Loading channel, coordinating the production of three different programs.In 2021, I worked for the first time with PR and game localization at Level Up, where I was able to work with companies such as Tencent.I also have two books published by Editora Panda Books, one about Pokémon Go and another about the history of League of Legends in Brazil. Among other personal projects, since 2021 I have been doing weekly live broadcasts on Twitch and publishing curiosities and analyses about the gaming market on social media.
