Claudio Almarza is a documentary photographer and storyteller, endorsed by UNESCO and the National Museum of Natural History. He is also a freelance National Geographic correspondent for Latin America and Ambassador for Canon and Gitzo.Data Sheet (Summary)• Freelance photojournalist for Reuters (1990-1991)• Between 1991 to 1996 he was a stringer for France Presse and correspondent of Sipa Press for Latin America• Claudio started contributing to National Geographic Magazine in 2002, (Latin America edition).• In 2005, he founded the Geográfica Organization for Latin America, as a foundation and magazine.• In 2012 he became the first Canon ambassador for Chile• 2012 he made the biggest exposition for only one author in Telefonica Foundation, based in Chile, (800 m2).
