Claudio Da Soller serves as the General Manager of Pininfarina’s American multi-disciplinary and creative design studio, specializing in industrial and product design, mobility, and architecture. In his capacity as a company officer, Claudio is in charge of driving Pininfarina of America’s business growth, overseeing sales, marketing, operations, and P&L for North, Central, and Latin America.Under his leadership, the company turned around by more than tripling in size and achieving record-breaking revenues and profitability, driving the Pininfarina brand and business to achieve its highest-ever performance metrics in the Americas. Claudio has previously worked as EMEA Marketing Director for GE General Electric with the task to develop and to execute the marketing and the brand positioning plan of its home appliances division. From 2002 to 2006 he covered several marketing and sales positions in the US and Germany for Philips and Viking Range Corporation. Overall he has 25+ years experience working in the high-end luxury Consumer Goods and premium services, worldwide, with a mix of strategic, marketing and international business development roles.Prior to start his business career in marketing and sales, Claudio spent 3 years in the Italian military police Carabinieri Corps as Lieutenant and covered the role of Logistics Commander-in-Chief of a regiment by leading a department of more than 100 policemen at the age of 24. He has been a semi-pro soccer player in Italy and has spent several years coaching soccer to kids. In 1996 he received the 1st edition of the "Fair Play" award from the Panathlon International club for the recognition of "exceptional sport and educational values". Claudio is still covering several leadership roles in local volunteer and non-profit organizations, such as Executive Vice-President and Board Member of the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce SouthEast (IACCSE) and President of the Carabinieri National Association (ANC) in Miami. He is also founding member of the Associazione Amici di Rolle “Friends of Rolle”, a volunteering association aimed to preserve the natural, artistic, historic and cultural values of the little village of Rolle, in the Treviso province, north of Venice, where Claudio spent his childhood. Loves to travel, passionate for marketing and LEGO, Claudio speaks fluently Italian, English and a good German. He holds a Bachelor' s degree in Economics and Business Administration from University of Udine and an MBA cum laude from HULT International Business School in Boston, with a major in marketing.
