The issue was formerly addressed by a Price-Waterhouse team of 4, who worked for about 6… Show more In P&G I re-implemented, expanded and rewamped "RAP", "Receivables Analysis Package", an enterprise tool that I conceived and developed in Gillette Group, in the area of A/R, Credit Management and legal litigations.While doing this, I was charged to develop a solution that could help the A/R department to produce correct credit notes / invoices to corporate customers for payments within payment terms. The issue was formerly addressed by a Price-Waterhouse team of 4, who worked for about 6 months without being able to solve the problem, that was costing P&G a little less than a million euros per year of financial net loss. After 6 months, my solution not only solved the problem in a few hours of data crunching operated on a common client PC, but also produced PDF files automatically sent through email to internal Collectors and directly to Customers, and to push in the legacy system a stream of data that the legacy system crunched and sent to SAP, that transformed the data flow into well-formed accounting documents and registrations. I worked on an internal project in the Administration area, made of several components, dealing with both active and passive cycle (invoices, orders, contracts, customers, providers...) and sales force management. In BPC&I I developed a complex and powerful back-office solution enabling the Bank to install effortlessly almost 4,000 PCs (both back-office, front-office and servers) using an automated procedure that automatically fed the systems at initial startup, telling them which configuration to use and which application to install, and how.
