Supported early data collection for noninvasive, biomedical sensing device at a seed-stage medical device startup. Created concept models in SolidWorks and designed early prototype shell casing and validation of product design.

Covered a large portfolio of marine seismic products requiring a system level understanding, as well as in depth comprehension of the mechanical aspect of the equipment. Also supported other departments, including manufacturing, suppliers, operations and supply chain, with technical expertise. Responsibilities included failure investigations and root cause analysis, technical supplier visits, mechanical design, test plans and field test plans (including Hazard Analysis and Risk Control) and organizing field tests.• Led global task team to resolve field failures of marine offshore steering device and implemented solution.• Successful failure investigation and re-design of high cost catastrophic rope loop failures.• Completed Schlumberger REMS Advance Graduate Program.• Wrote test plans and led testing on off-shore marine test vessel.

Successfully created a working prototype within 3 months. Working in a small team, our goal was to dramatically reduce the noise created by the hydraulic pump when opening the door.
