This class helps students have a better understanding of how the economic system in their everyday lives operates.• The General Economics class modules focus on major components of the U.S. economy, how the market distribute resources, GDP, banking system, and the U.S. government.• Teaching the Foundations of Business class. This class introduces students to all the business disciplines.• The Foundations of Business class modules focus on Accounting, Management, Marketing, Finance, Economics, International Business, Agribusiness, and Management Information Systems• Students also engage in a business simulator where they have to apply the concepts learned in class into real world decision-making scenarios.

• Manage the daily operation, budgeting and staff of two large on-campus apartment complexes with 600+ students • Trained and certified on key safety and security programs including disaster preparedness, active assailant response, protection of minors, Title IX, mental illness counseling and drug/alcohol abuse prevention amongst others.• Supervise facilities and event personnel including graduate assistants, resident assistants, maintenance technicians, and custodial staff throughout the whole academic year. • Oversee the summer turnover of four residence halls and two apartment complexes totaling 1,702 beds including managing the logistics, budgeting and operations tied to the cleaning, maintenance, repairs and improvements of those facilities.• Lead and facilitate ongoing training and development opportunities for staff and student leaders.• Manage the process to interview, assess and hire professional and multipurpose staff.• Work in close coordination with university health and safety departments to respond to emergency situations such as alcohol and drug poisoning, mental health issues, suicide prevention, harassment, domestic violence situations and theft.• Develop and implement programs geared towards student academic advancement, safety and security, leadership, and community building.• Successfully created, planned, and executed a 5K run event for 6 years in a row geared towards raising awareness and donations for a regional homeless and women’s shelter within the university and the local community leaders.

Supervised the daily operation of the 153 bed McCullough-Trigg hall.
