As mechanical design engineer I have contributed to the development of two innovative wing supported ships for passenger transportation (HSC): -ADMIRAL 250 HYDROFOIL - Loa: 31.70 m; 250 Pax -ADMIRAL 350 HYDROFOIL - Loa: 38.40 m; 350 Pax I dealt in particular with steel and aluminum structures, naval equipment (shaft lines, POD, stabilizer fins, rudders, flaps, wings) and of pipe plants (diesel, sea water, lubrication, hydraulic) performing structural calculations, executive drawings and bill of materials. I have maintained relations with suppliers of products and machinery for the identification of technically suitable solutions, providing support in the search for any necessary adaptations. In the company shipyard and at external companies I conducted supervision activities, mainly in the mechanical field, of the production phases contributing to the achievement of the imposed qualitative and temporal objectivesI have occasionally conducted maintenance supervision activities in the activities carried out on the sailing fleet consisting of 33 HSC vessels I have maintained relations with the classification authorities (RINA) mainly in the context of new constructions ( approval drawings, class visits, sea trials) but also that of maintenance (Endorsement)
