Business Analyst; Project LeaderImpactools Jul 1999 - Jun 2004A unique and unforgettable experience, that was very much important to achieve who I am nowadays.I started working at Impactools, previously called eCommerce, through indication given by Sandra, who I would like to thank once again. At Impactools I had the chance to learn a lot about insurance business, mainly Life and Pension products, which was essential for my career growth. I worked with eSeg system, a system developed for managing policies of Life and Pension products.I started there as an Intern and left as a Project Leader. During that period, I act also as Programmer, System and Business Analyst. There I also had the opportunity to learn Spanish (I went 4x to Madrid in 2001) and strengthen my English knowledge.Projects at Impactools were always full of challenges, both in national and international projects. The most important projects that I worked were Metlife and Porto Seguro. I had the opportunity to work abroad, which was very important for my development, mentioning Spain, Singapore, Indonesia, China and India. This was the first job in which I had the opportunity to work with trainings, which is my second passion I would say. I did system trainings for users and also for software factories.I would like to thank Aurimar (Harry) Cerqueira, José Carlos da Cruz and Robinson Esteves, who always offered me challenging opportunities and recognized my efforts. -
Jr. AnalystCpm Braxis Oct 1997 - Jul 1999Working at CPM was my first experience inside de IT world. I joined CPM when I was only 16 years old.I had the chance to work there during the nice period of the Y2K projects, and during this period at CPM I always worked with these projects. My only experience with programming (Visual Basic and Dataflex) was at the high school, so I started working there in the creation and update of project documents, like project plans, status reports, etc.As most of the projects in which I was allocated were related to changes in Cobol, Natural and Easytrieve programs, I met people with large experience in IT projects and that was an awesome experience.I had a very good relationship with these people, and that allowed me to ask them to give me the chance to analyse the programs in order to identify for them the changes required to solve the Y2K bugs. I succeeded on doing this extra work and then I started applying the programs update by myself.Main clients where I was allocated: Nossa Caixa Nosso Banco (Banking), Telefonica (Telecom) and Eletropaulo (energy). There are 2 particular people I would like to give a special thank: Sandra and Lurdinha, that believed in my potential and helped me to start working at CPM.
