- Co-lead the ABET reaccreditation project, through strategy planning, documentation preparation and evidence presentation, directing a multifunctional team of 60 members.- Optimized the operations model to manage academic plans for the UPC-Arizona Engineering program, standardizing and enabling traceability of the student’s study plans, speeding up courses scheduling and enrollment, achieving the program expansion and reducing workload by 75%.- Directed academic initiatives to minimize the selection and submission timeline of undergraduate research projects from 9-12 months to 3 months, reducing the dropout of graduates in the process, and improving the acceptance rate of student’s papers in academic circuits.- Diagnosed and solved procedural gaps in research protocols regarding co-authorship, ethical and legal use of information, and GDPR or personal identification data management.- Implemented the academic model for the career’s new professional engineering certification program, ensuring that the bachelors document and defend a professional experience project in 1 regular semester.- Led the comprehensive redesign of the Capstone course line under the formative research model, putting into practice the use of their Senior year project as a means to deploy research methodology and develop their Student Outcomes in their maximum level.- Co-designed the Professional Integration Workshop course, to train soft skills, critical thinking, knowledge integration, among other capabilities, as tools for the professional success of graduates, with UPC being the only university that has this type of course in its curriculum.
