I aspire to succeed where others see an insurmountable challenge. I started in consulting, guiding customers to optimize their business together with a team of professionals. Afterwards in the wind turbine industry I pushed for cost consciousness in the design of our wind turbines. In the changing market in 2008-2012 that was the make or break condition of the industry. I guided a competent team of 200 engineers and sourcing specialist to drive out cost and keeping the quality intact. In my next job as Chief controller and head of Business Partnering in a liner company the feedback when driving for cost savings, was almost instantaneously. Some say super tankers are hard to turn, but when you work with committed colleagues and leaders and you truly work together, tankers turn swiftly, smoothly and elegantly. And nothing pushes a like strong economic wins on the horizon. My journey has taken me into the position of CFO for Nukissiorfiit, the national utility company, where I guided all of the financial and administrative departments. Together with the CEO and the CTO we directed Nukissiorfiit toward a more sustainable, profitable and cheaper utility company for the benefit of all citizens of Greenland. In the near future we plan to erect 2 new hydro power plants costing 3 billion DKK, which will deliver clean energy to Greenland, taking the public renewable production ratio to 90 % for all of Greenland. For 9 months I had the privilege to lead the company as interim CEO, while maintaining the position as CFO. I did not wish to continue in this function, as I took me away from day to day operations. I then became CFO and CAO, responsible for the Finance department, the Accounting department, the Human Resource department, the Sales department, the Legal department, the customer service department and our internal Business Partnering department. After my journey has taken me to a long sought for goal: To start a company for full time occupation.I have starten GreenLead together with two great people, and today we advise companies in the green transistion. We specialize in the biggest energy plants like hydro power stations, PV solar energy parks, wind turbine parks, energy optimization of industries and organizational readyness for the green transistion particularly for technical organizations.
