As a 20 year-old living in a bad part of Denton, I was used to working menial restaurant and retail jobs, and I thought that's what I was going to be doing for the rest of my life: 50+ hour work weeks with no passion for my career.Until I enrolled in the Santa Fe University of Art & Design in 2016, where I discovered my love for media arts and storytelling. I met and worked with so many creative students and influential professors who opened up a whole new world for me. When the school shut down in 2018, I transferred to the University of North Texas, where I began my filmmaking journey. At UNT, I learned much more about media arts: broadcast television, radio, writing for video games, and how to collaborate with fellow storytellers to produce creative and engaging video content. I fell in love with screenwriting, cinematography, and directing, but my true passion was in the post-production stage: video editing, audio mixing, and color correction. Watching the finished product come together is a magical and rewarding process, and this passion solidified what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. After graduating, I've broadened my network considerably, collaborating with talented writers and filmmakers all around the DFW area. I've worked as a video editor, true-crime journalist, video game writer, actor, voice-over artist, production assistant, videographer, production designer, colorist, and project manager. In 2023 my fellow producers and I founded our very own independent studio, "Red Nile Studios", where we focus on producing and shooting our own original content. I'm always looking for the next great opportunity to work with other creative media artists, and I'm so thankful for the opportunities that have come my way since I started this career 8 years ago.
