Clayton Barrow, Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Ability Prosthetics & Orthotics, Inc. is an American Board for Certification (ABC) Certified Orthotist who first became interested in the field in November of 2004 after contacting founder, Jeffrey M. Brandt, CEO about getting involved in a profession where he could make a difference in someone’s life. Clay spent the prior 8 years working in software development, web development, and network systems infrastructure for several companies including Price Waterhouse. In 2000, Clay joined his wife in starting and managing DBTS, Inc., a successful Information Technology staffing company in Washington DC. Clay was involved in all aspects of running the business which grew to over 8 million dollars in revenue by 2005.In 2006, Clay graduated from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine’s Orthotic program, which is housed within the highly regarded Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. Clay subsequently completed his orthotic residency at Ability Prosthetics & Orthotics.Clay has spent the last three plus years creating a corporate technical infrastructure that standardizes the Ability experience for employees throughout the company. Clay’s prior management experience at DBTS has provided valuable insight when making decisions for Ability’s growth. Clay currently operates as the COO, and manages the day to day operations of the corporate office of Ability Prosthetics & Orthotics, Inc.As owner/practitioner of Ability Prosthetics & Orthotics, Inc. it is Clay’s goal to provide the highest level of care, service and education to the patients, referral sources and third party payers across Pennsylvania and Maryland.
