I have worked in the Aerospace industry for nearly 27 years. A lot of that time was as a contractor for OEMs across the country, such as ARINC, Boeing, Dassault, and Bombardier. I have also worked with smaller companies as a direct employee or contractor that specialize in VIP interiors, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), Maritime Patrol, Certification of Flight, Ground and Simulated Testing.I have also designed and integrated weapon systems for existing Part 23 platforms for light attack gunship roles.During that time, I have designed many things from carpet/tapestry layouts to interior monuments (Closets, Ceiling installations, Support Structure to Divans, and Galleys, etc.) on high end business jets, to designing mission consoles and directing LRU placement, wiring/harnessing, video, signal control integration, radio integration on aircraft, and designed/integrated countermeasure defenses for many of the air frames as well.I have worked with several government agencies over time such as:Ballistic Missile Defense Organization (BMDO)Missile Defense Agency (MDA)Nevada Air National Guard (NVANG)USAF Big SafariUSNU.S. Customs and Border PatrolIn my most recent position at AeroTEC LLC, the company held the contract to assist in the certification and ground, flight and rig testing for the Mitsubishi Regional Jet (MRJ) where I contributed by writing test procedures specific to ATA 31 and ATA 34. I also contributed to test procedures used for ATA 23, ATA 24, ATA 33, and ATA 42 certification.I was excited to be intimately involved in what is surely one of the newest Part 25 air frames being built and got great satisfaction from working with similarly passionate people in a high-tech industry where I learned multiple new things every day.I was released from employment with AeroTEC due to downsizing on the part of the customer that affected my ability to be retained. So, I am looking for my next opportunity to carry on in the industry.
