I program and operate a Daewoo Puma 230M G-Code lathe and a Mazak Multiplex 610 dual chuck lathe.

● I write 10-20 2-axis programs daily and alter them as needed. ● I setup and ran 8 KIA 30s in my cell.● Made adjustments as needed for quality assurance.● Most tolerances were+- .00025"/.004".● Cleaned my area daily for safety and overall cleanliness.● Helped other co-workers with prints and setups they did not understand.

Everything was set up with manual adjustments but the operation ran on an automatic hydraulic system. I had to set up length, OD chamfer, ID chamfer, rough bore, taper and bore, thread speed, thread pitch, and where the threads crossed center on our couplings. I changed out carbides and other tooling as needed to keep efficiency high and optimize production while still running high quality parts. I utilized an overhead crane for heavier parts. The building did not have climate control so we dealt with high heats and low colds throughout the year. Usually 120-130 degrees inside in the summer and 30-40 in the winter.

I made sure that the 24 machines on my side of the building had all of the raw materials, boxes, labels, sub-assembly pieces, fixtures, sonic welders, RFID tags, and anything else needed to run their orders. I used a stand up reach lift for this position. I carried away all full skids to optimize work flow for the operators. I carried out all inventory on paints for the building weekly and helped with all other inventories each year. I had to keep the warm material mezzanines full.
