I have had several years' worth of management and leadership experience from being a meat department manager/lead butcher all the way to owning my current tech support business called Tech Nav. I've always had my sites set to become a successful entrepreneur and being part of or creating something truly great... When I got the opportunity to be able to do what I am doing now, I took it without even thinking twice!I started out just like a lot of 16-year-old teenagers do by working in the food industry. Just to list a few, I worked at Texas Roadhouse, Skylight Inn BBQ, Ruby Tuesdays, Burger King, Taco Bell, and the grocery store Food City. I always worked hard and worked my way into management in almost every job because I always thrived to be a leader and was good at it...After years at Food City, I finally decided to take the risk and quit my cushy job there so I could chase my true passion, technology... Ever since I was a kid I loved computers and any kind of technology, I would take devices & electronics apart and rebuild them over and over again because I found it fascinating how they worked or figuring out what I could build/do with it. After I left Food City I worked on getting certifications for the IT field and started a little computer repair side gig out of my house which did fairly well. I eventually was able to start as the lead computer technician at a small break-fix computer repair business and worked my way up to being in charge of the shop. I did that for about a year and then decided to move on to bigger and better things and got hired as a lead field technician at a traveling tech support and computer services company called Tech Nav. After about 8 months I stepped up as the store manager and took over the business's daily operations. A few months passed and I was approached with an offer to buy the business and gain 100% ownership of the company. I did not hesitate and I almost immediately accepted the offer because as the great Eminem stated in the song "Lose Yourself", " You only get one shot, do not miss your chance to blow. This opportunity comes once in a lifetime, yo..."... All jokes aside I was handed something amazing and have been so lucky to be able to do something I'm truly passionate about... This is where the story leads to me a year later the present day. I still own Tech Nav and it has been going fantastic!!!
