As a kid, I would dismantle my toys just to look at their parts and how each of them worked together. I was always fascinated by how things worked. I would ask countless questions about everything I saw like cars and planes because I was curious about how everything worked. As I matured and got older, my curiosity drifted away from toys and more toward computers. When I first got into technology, it made me feel like a kid again. I had been around a computer before, for instance, my dad taught me how to play video games when I was only five years old. But there was something more intriguing than just the game, I wanted to know how such an incredible machine worked. When I learned how its power could be harnessed, that is when I decided I was going to pursue a path in technology.My thirst for understanding how computers and applications operate is what drives me to pursue a career in the tech industry. I crave the satisfaction of problem-solving. I believe working in tech is similar to putting pieces of a puzzle together. When I struggle to understand an error, sometimes I will lose track of time searching for the right solution. But after everything lines up perfectly, or when all the puzzle pieces fit, you feel you've accomplished something. That is what I strive for each and every day. When I am not learning about or practicing my tech skills, you can still find me doing things that involve a computer. Some of my favorite hobbies are video editing and gaming, both of which I love to share with my friends whom I share interests with. Aside from being behind a computer, I love to play hockey, swing some golf (sometimes more difficult than working with tech), and relax outside with my family, friends, and my two dogs.At my core, I'm really just a big computer nerd who loves to learn and help others. I always do my best to successfully complete any task at hand but, arguably more importantly, I do my best to understand those around me. Humans are now outnumbered by gadgets, so the best thing we can have is a strong connection with those around us.
