I have always maintained a keen interest in the current popular culture and its effects on contemporary art, both digital and non-digital. As my background is very much in the pioneering days of digital design I have always had a fascination with digital art and an interest in the new technologies developing within this culture; however I maintain that a good designer is one that has the ability to create artwork off-screen and use the medium as a tool.
