Responsible for the engineering, operation, maintenance, installation, and future development of the program’s DRSN network and integration of the Survivable Emergency Conferencing Network (SECN) and Presidential and National Voice Conferencing (PNVC) for over 10 users utilizing over 350 devices.  Responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of secure and non-secure contingency communications equipment/systems at multiple sites, to include UHF and HF transceivers, KY-99M end crypto units, SKL key loading devices, Iridium Satellite telephone devices, desktops/laptops, printers/scanners, STE devices, secure and non-secure fax, PTIK mobile kits, DEOS mobile kits, VSAT, and multi-level secure and non-secure video teleconferencing equipment, in accordance with secure communications requirements delineated in Presidential Policy Directive PPD-40 and OSTP/OMB Directive D-16-1. Assists in the day-to-day operation of the Department of Defense Advanced Extremely High Frequency (AEHF) protected satellite communications network to include operation, maintenance, installation, and future development. Primary Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) manager responsible for providing the capability for the automated generation, accounting, distribution, destruction, and management of electronic keys, as well as management of physical key and non-key COMSEC related items to include KG-175D/F, KY-99M, KIV-7M, KG-250X and other COMSEC devices. Part of a team of communicators responsible for required, reportable inter-agency multi-level, multi-systems communications testing to ensure contingency/emergency operations readiness in an all-hazards environment.
