I am driven by an intense passion for student development and human growth in higher education, namely through channels of organizational leadership, program coordination, and partnership development. As such, service within an institution of higher education remains my humble calling, most specifically reflected in my passions to serve nontraditional student populations, and more specifically with intentions to serve the military-connected community. My research focus is honored by student veterans - their beliefs about sense of belonging in higher education, their motivations in college choice, and their interest in teaching and leadership. I am committed to going beyond the cursory phrase "thank you for your service" by creating tangible, actionable service innovations in this space.---
