I am one of the pinpoint contacts for students applying to Centre College. I also oversee our Summer Interns, and am the mentor for Centre Posse 17. I help with event planning, serve on hiring committees, am an athletic liaison for the College, and generally provide a welcoming presence to share information about the admission process.

I validate withdrawals and deposits for our customers while also looking for referral opportunities to expand business throughout the company. I develop customer relations and cash handling skills daily. I can open and close accounts for the bank, as well as process other necessary needs that the bank offers. I'm designated as a back up head teller when needed. I have knowledge about IRAs and HSAs. This can also be a fast-paced environment, allowing me to pay strong attention to detail.

I worked the betting machines at both the Oaks and Derby Day races, placing and cataloging hundreds of bets throughout both days. I had to make sure my money was balanced before and at the end of the day. This allowed me to gain experience in a fast-paced environment that required strong attention to detail.

I assisted with their marketing side, promoting their spirits at tasting events around Kentucky. I helped start a Wikipedia page, as well as setting up direct mailing.

I called out times for the runners, helped set up and take down equipment for track events, and helped with the inventory for uniforms and other accessories for the team.

I helped recruit football players for the team. This ranged from being an overnight host, to leading tours on campus before games. I've successfully secured commitments from overnight hosts and I've also been remembered for giving tours by some parents of current players.

I completed the necessary undergrad course to fulfill a B.S. in Economics and Finance. While attending college, I was also a part of the football team, held multiple positions as a member of Phi Delta Theta, and also held a work-study job.

I served members by the pool or inside in the club restaurant. I also stepped in whenever my supervisor needed assistance with anything.

I really enjoyed this job. I watched kids aged from 6 to 13 for 10 hours a day, five days a week. I played board games and do arts and crafts with the kids. We also had an hour to watch TV. We also had more than two hours to play in our gym or our playground, in which the kids usually play a game that my coworkers and I pick out, or they play their own games. There's always life lessons to be taught, ranging from bullying to school. We went on field trips every Tuesday and Thursday, as well as swimming every Thursday. I helped check the kids in and out of the camp, making sure they're picked up by the correct people. To do so, we had a list of who should be picking the child up and we always checked IDs. This was a very rewarding job because you're giving back to the community, helping kids develop into young adults.
