Specific responsibilities included managing $25MM in annual courier incentive spend, growing the courier base through paid media optimization and courier engagement programs and representing Uber Eats on earned media TV/print engagements

Responsible for managing and growing the Uber Eats business throughout the greater Chicagoland area with an emphasis on team leadership/mentorship, competitive landscape understanding/analysis and hyper scaled operational excellence.During my ~5month tenure leading the Chicago Uber Eats business, it sustainably grew 2x to over $175MM in annual revenue.

Launched and was responsible for the Uber Eats business throughout Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico and Utah. During this time we grew the business 10x to over $125MM in annual revenue.Specific responsibilities included complete city launches, growth, strategy and execution with emphasis on P&L ownership, forecasting, sub-team leadership/strategy (consumer marketing, driver operations, restaurant sales, restaurant success), scaling knowledge and processes to adjacent Uber Eats leaders/teams, overall team leadership (strategy, growth, development, mentoring and scaling) and representing Uber Eats on earned media TV/print engagements

Responsible for Uber's driver operations and operations teams throughout several metropolitan markets across the Midwest. Specific responsibilities included those listed below as well as P&L strategy and ownership, external stakeholder engagement (city council and regulatory bodies), compliance auditing, in-person support strategy and execution, internal team restructuring and strategy, mentoring and advising fellow employees

Launched, built, and grew Uber's driver operations across several metropolitan markets in Michigan and Iowa. Specific responsibilities included driver growth and quality, developing, executing and scaling operational processes, coordination with HQ and product leadership, internal team growth and management.

In addition to the Engineer I & II roles and responsibilities below, assumed interim responsibilities of the Area Gas Operations Manager in May of 2012; responsibilities include the following:Oversee the operation of an electricity generation facility by supporting/managing the site manager & production team.Successfully manage the daily operation of multiple landfill gas extraction systems including optimizing system performance and implementing companywide BMP's and standards.Analyze weekly & monthly operational data for compliance with federal and local regulatory requirements/permits.Mine & analyze operational data for existing and emerging trends to identify and carry out optimization opportunities.Support facility managers with the implementation of and continual compliance with Title V and Non-Title V operating permits.Oversee the completion of annual Greenhouse Gas worksheets with respect to data entry, accuracy and timeliness.Develop strategic relationships with regulatory agencies/regulators through transparent and frequent communications.

Manage multi-million dollar capital expenditure, maintenance and repair projects at multiple solid waste handling facilities. Project Management includes working with site managers to develop needed projects, securing corporate funding/PO's, working with design engineers and architects to design the project & contracting/working with local contractors to oversee the actual construction of the project. Specific projects managed or co-managed include:- $21MM material recovery facility construction- $10MM landfill gas to electricity facility construction- $9MM new landfill development (including access roads, utilities, building, bridge, drainage structures & disposal cell construction), - $3MM landfill disposal cell construction- $1MM landfill drainage structure constructionSuccessfully work with multiple business unit operation managers to identify and implement cost saving measures aimed at improving the business unit's overall P&L.Work closely with company operations on the renewal/modification of various facility permits including SPCC plans, Solid Waste, Air Operating & Zoning Permits.Assist in the design, siting and construction of multi-million dollar Solid Waste facilities aimed at creating top line growth as well as enhance environmental protection.Provide support to the market area finance and accounting teams in relation to annual operating budgets, project completion & closeout and business unit proforma models.Responsible for preparing annual life of site development cost estimates & budgets for six landfill business units in order to develop CapEX spend schedules and amortization rates.Work with multiple facility managers to implement and identify cost saving measures aimed at improving the business unit's overall P&L. Develop and present presentations on various lines of business to key community and organization leaders.

Manage capital expenditure projects, maintenance & repair projects and annual financial model development at one landfill within the State of Arizona.Assist the market area environmental protection group in development and implementation of SWPPP & SPCC plans as well as implementing BMP's to maximize the environmental protection at Solid Waste sites within Arizona.Assist in the final design and construction of multi million dollar Solid Waste handling facilities aimed at increasing revenue, reducing operating costs and maximizing business unit EBIT.
