The project was accepted and was implemented with a multi-threaded C# application to transfer account documentation images from a proprietary system to an external vendor. Images were by extracted from a MSSQL database and transmitted via secure FTP. ·Learned a new programming language, Ab Intio, and authored the new General Ledger batch interface between the mainframe and the general ledger system. ·Directed the project team and assisted in the design of a Microsoft DNA based block trading system, Automated Order Delivery System (AODS), that resulted in substantial savings by eliminating data entry/mathematical errors and enabling traders to save on trade processing fees. ·Lead the project team to upgrade the AODS System to a C# based multi-thread and queued application, the redesign leveraged emerging .Net technology achieving a 10 fold increase in order processing. ·Oversaw multiple upgrade projects for GIM2 and spearheaded the creation of a GIM2 High Availability Clustered environment which alleviated downtime due to hardware faults.
