One oftheir legacy SAP ERP systems responsible for South American data needed to bemigrated to a newer SAP ECC 6.0 version.As a Data Migration Consultant, Claydson played a key role in this transition. He appliedSAP Best Practices for Data Migration to extract data from SAP ECC 4.0 and load it intoSAP ECC 6.0. Although the migration team initially planned to use LSMW programs formost data loads, Claydson advocated for using SAP Data Services and IDocs forimproved efficiency and accuracy. He developed SAP Data Services 4.2 ETL processesto migrate and consolidate data, incorporating standard IDocs and LSMW recordings,which he created and customized.Following the successful data migration, Claydson continued to support Exxon Mobilwith other data integration projects, including the implementation of the ExxonMobilDataHub. His skills and contributions led to hispromotion to BI Technical Manager. In this role, he significantly improved theperformance of various ETL processes, resulting in a substantial reduction in the DataWarehouse loading runtime.During this time, Claydson also achieved his second certification, becoming an IBMCertified Solution Developer – InfoSphere DataStage v9.1.FHPD had a Data Warehouse already in place modelled on an Informix database, which needed enhancements to attend growing needs.Claydson joined the BI team, assigned as an ordinary ETL developer role, but after a few weeks, showing his expertise on dimensional modelling and IBM DataStage 9.1, he became the BI Technical Manager. They assigned Claydson to work on SLC (Superior Labour Court), which is one important Brazilian federal agency.SLC needed a Business Intelligence solution and started a public bidding. The 5 Acts, as a SAP partner, presented a proposal solution using Business Objects and BusinessObjects Data Integrator.Claydson was responsible to create a POC (Proof of Concept), highlighting the advantages to use BusinessObjects Data Integrator XI, as the integration tool for the Data Warehouse. He presented the POC to SLC, answered all their questions confidently and helped 5 Acts to win the bidding.SLC also could count on Claydson to install and configure BusinessObjects Data Integrator on their server and client machines. He also helped designing and developing the ETL processes to load the Data Warehouse.Another important project at SLC was the Data Quality project. SLC had a very inaccurate table of legal proceeding parties. The legacy transactional system, programed in Orable Forms, allows the recording of duplicated and misspelled parties, so SLC needed a Data Quality project to cleanse the Party table and avoid the transactional system to mess it again.Claydson designed the whole data quality solution. First, he created a data quality process, scheduled to run once, to cleanse the historical data already loaded in Party table. Meanwhile, he also created an online data quality process that intercepted all incoming new parties, and avoided any duplicated party been inserted in that table again. This project permitted SLC to have accurate analytic reports, what delivered a huge value to this client.
