PhD student in the Pharmacology and Physiology department at URMC.

PhD student and research assistant at the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in the Pharmaceutical Sciences department. Starting spring semester, I worked in Dr. Yeh-Hsing Lao's lab on a CRISPR drug delivery project focused on Alzheimer's Disease. My primary role was to characterize our reporter cell line and monitor activation with CRISPR/Cas9.

Under the direction of Drs. Libby Puckett and Michael Reddish, my thesis project was the development of a whole-cell biosensing system for monitoring beta-lactam hydrolysis and antibiotic resistance.

Worked in the stockroom of the Chemistry Department. In this position, I was responsible for distributing glassware and supplies to students, preparing solutions, and setting up introductory and organic chemistry labs. I was also responsible for waste disposal and the overall organization of the stockroom.

Functioned as a mentor for high school students living on campus and was responsible for welfare of students during off campus activities.

Worked on product development of ink and dispersion formulas as well as stability testing for existing formulations.
