The firm relied on me to oversee the highest level of interior design projects. In addition to creating the concept, I handled each project’s budgetary parameters while monitoring team performance. I ensured on-time completion and aesthetics that exceeded clients’ expectations. I also monitored the formation of photographic renderings and animations of the space.I relished collaborating with the team through the design development phase. The development phase allowed me to define the look and feel of the space and incorporate decisions that led to the renderings and animations.Selected Accomplishments:✶ Headed a design project involving a firm’s expansion from one to two floors totaling 30,000 square-feet – I created a modern, sleek aircraft theme and a custom stairway to visually connect the two floors, plus the renovation of the original level to pull it all together, aesthetically.✶ Revamped Kaiser Permanente’s 105,000 square-foot LEED Platinum Baldwin Hills Medical Office Building – I devised an energetic airport setting that achieved Kaiser’s vision of forward-thinking patient care and workflow.

In this role, I drove the success of interior design efforts while leading a team of ~30 employees, contractors, and architects per project. I defined concepts and led the team through devising creative ideas and functional necessities. I also reviewed and verified the translation of everything into documentation for the general contractor. Additionally, I detailed plans for critical elements such as furnishing, graphics, and artwork. Selected Accomplishment:✶ Infused the Southern California vibe for the Pritzker Group – I incorporated Mr. Pritzker’s art collection into a timeless California design, the firm’s orange branding, and a visual distinction between the financial advisors’ and the venture capitalists’ areas.
