In my 5+ years experience Landscaping I learnt the importance of team integrity and strong relationships. Landscaping is a very physically demanding job with long hours so it's important to be able to retain a cohesive environment. People who enjoy their workplace will put in more effort and will achieve greater results. I also developed the ability to negotiate and read between the lines when talking to clients to be able to understand what they want.The liquor industry has been an interesting experience as I have had the privilege of meeting people from varied professions and been able to learn from them, from business owners to medical professionals. The satisfaction of persuading somebody to buy a new product and introducing them to different wineries, distilleries, breweries and even different types of beer and wine drove me and I loved the challenge of a tough customer or using new techniques to make close a sale.
