Clayton Campbell is working as a cultural producer; visual artist, stage designer, exhibitionorganizer, arts administrator, development strategist and fundraiser, cultural program designerand published writer. Dedicated to working on behalf of artists and creative communities since1975 when he co-founded the first non-profit performance space in the Southwestern US, Claytonwas the Co-Executive and Artistic Director of the 18th Street Arts Center in Santa Monica, CAbetween 1995-2010. He has consulted from 2005 to present on the design and implementation ofartist residency programs with the Rockefeller Bellagio Center, Joan Mitchell Center, theCleveland Foundation, the Rasmuson Foundation, United States Artists, Otis College of Art,Little Tokyo Service Center, ARCAthens and Fountainhead, Miami. Throughout he has beendeeply involved in fundraising, development and various forms of philanthropy. Convening a consortium of local organizations and out of state and local multi disciplinary artists, a unique model of partnerships and collaborations will take place in March of 2018. During this pilot session the artists will be in residence for a three-month period, and develop projects that work with various groups and artists in the Little Tokyo Community.
