Added the Cloud Native Applications (CNA) practice to the Caylent portfolio and have grown it significantly during my tenure both in headcount and in revenue. As the practice was starting I helped pilot the capabilities using subcontractors and then helped transition to an in-house developer model. Our in-house development team has doubled every year since I started.My main focus in this role is growing a healthy practice of developers, ensuring we deliver quality work, and working with sales to ensure they are well-equipped to sell our services. All of those responsibilities encompass a wide array of skills and duties, but at a high level, those are my goals.Some other notable responsibilities include - cross-company collaboration, contract review and authoring, mentorship, staffing, resourcing, hiring, interviewing, interfacing with leadership, client escalations, practice level forecasting (headcount, skills, revenue), etc

As a technical delivery manager at Caylent I led technical teams of architects and engineers. I had a team of people that I was responsible for from an HR and reporting standpoint. For these people, it was my responsibility to mentor them and help define their role and path inside of the organization. In addition to people manager responsibilities, I also was in charge of managing teams on client projects and ensuring their successful delivery - on time, on budget, with happy stakeholders. Those projects range form large scale migrations to new deployments in the cloud. I am their escalation point. In this role I am part of a dev ops team dedicated to building micro services aimed at modernizing our ERP ecosystem. The ITLP program is build around four unique 6 month rotations providing you a variety of experience in both technical and non technical domains on projects the impact various areas across the business.Rotation 1: Hosted Technology Solutions PM (July 13 - Feb 14)- Project manager in charge of retiring old SAN frame. This project involved migrating all hosts off the SAN frame. Involved learning and interacting with various technologies, customers, teams and vendors.- Managed a server rack consolidation project in one of our datacenters reducing our footprint and cutting costs within the organization.- Managed retiring of legacy systems by migrating customer data to newer technologies.Rotation 2: Siebel Americas OpenUI (March 14 - July 14)- Project manager in charge of improving the processes for remote service engineers and call center agents by building a new UI/UX solution on top of our existing CRM platform using Oracle/Siebel OpenUI.- Aided in the building out of a POC for parts ordering in the field allowing the the ability to access information on a mobile device.Rotation 3: Business Application API Developer (Aug 14 - Feb 15)- Developed APIs using nodeJS for our strategic ERP systems.- Worked with functional teams on gathering requirements for various application.- Build POC front ends using HTML/CSS and jQuery to consume APIsRotation 4: Business Application API Platform Architect (March 15 - August 15)- Architected cloud strategy on Amazon Web Services (AWS)- Developed continuous integration strategy using technologies such as GitHub, Jenkins, and Docker- Continued working with nodejs, Oracle, and web technologies to build and consume APIs

In this position I was able to be take on both technical and a project management roles. The first project I worked on was with the other students. We were in charge of deploying a SharePoint 2010 instance for the project managers to better keep track of all of their documents. While doing this we also had to follow the Purdue project management process and I specifically was in charge of the early on deliverables such as the project charter and stakeholder analysis documents.The other big project I worked on was with another student. This was a multiple step process but we first started with analyzing help desk data and identifying reason why the current reporting metrics were so far off from the truth. We then cleaned up a lot of the data and metrics around this data as well as changing a few of the processes that the helpdesk was using. Once we got the data in a cleaner state we developed an online dashboard where upper management could better see what was going on.

I worked on the global supply chain team to help install, troubleshoot and provide their new Oracle serialization platform. From my time spent in this position the global supply chain team now has several proof of concept installations, a development installation, as well as a script that is used to install this platform and to deploy it to different locations now that I am gone.

Manage the security for the campus wide network making sure that Purdue students and employees computers remain safe. Job responsibilities include virus reports, spam monitoring, and copyright notifications.

I was in charge of testing a data center monitoring and log retrieval product and the providing feedback to upper management on my findings.While working I was also put on a team with another intern where we were in charge of setting up the Network Operations Center and providing and testing processes around it.

I was responsible for maintaining an orderly lab environment where students and faculty could get work done. I was also the first line for support and troubleshooting in the lab environments which included windows and mac environments and software as well as scanners, printers, and copiers.
