NAF Atsugi Installation Antiterrorism Officer Training Team Leader / and Military Equal Opportunity Program Manager:- Revised the Antiterrorism Risk Management process to ensure compliance with governing directives and include 100% of the installation’s facilities. The process included coordination with 23 entities and various subject matter experts and was recognized by a Commander Navy Installation Command assessment team as a “best practice.”- Reviewed a construction projects and laydown requests ensuring strict compliance with DoD antiterrorism standards and U.S. Navy physical security requirements.- Coordinated closely with the installation IT department and an outside agency for the installation of a new DoD compliant alarm monitoring system as well as the classified and unclassified network in a newly renovated security building.- Led a team of 15 senior personnel through Planning, Briefing, Executing, and Debriefing process for 42 complex antiterrorism exercises which included pre-event briefings to executive staff members.- Oversaw the foreign travel program for military and government employees ensuring personnel completed and submitted all travel requirements outlined in the DoD Foreign Clearance Guide. This included managing Personnel Recovery Mission Software (PRMS) / Isolated Personnel Report (ISOPREP) accounts, submitting clearance requests via Aircraft and Personnel Automated Clearance System (APACS), and validating submissions on a DoD operated Travel Tracker (TT) / Individual Antiterrorism Plan (IATP) system.- Managed the submission and resolution of seven E.O. complaints, led the execution of two command climate assessments, facilitated multiple equal opportunity focus groups, and provided E.O. training.

Responsibilities included editing annual performance evaluations, drafting awards, providing guidance on career development, and conducting written or verbal counseling sessions when required.- Developed a Restriction of Movement process for transient personnel and the health screening process for installation access in response to COVID-19. Created an ADHOC Mission Essential Pass system via Microsoft Publisher and Excel which allowed for the rapid production of passes and streamlined vetting for entry control personnel.- Organized multiple virtual collaborative events with peer leaders resulting in the development of a non-traditional senior-leadership capstone event which overcame multiple health control hurdles to ensure the event retained its training value and was done safely.

Naval Support Facility Diego Garcia Security Officer:- Managed the operation, administration, and annual budget for a 75 person U.S. Navy overseas security department. - Coordinated with the Royal Overseas Police (ROPO) to commence a personnel exchange program for U.S. Navy personnel to gain law enforcement experience.- Developed a reconfiguration plan for the weapons armory increasing storage capability for transient units and reducing watch standing for Security Forces.

These exercises encompassed those conducted during a successfully-passed major inspection.- Assisted with the preparations for a Chief of Naval Operations directed Mission Assurance Assessment (MAA) and provided key information and support during the assessment.
