Daily checks of conveyor systems i.e. belts, troughing rollers, return idlers, fan pulleys, drive motors and belts, etc. Make repairs to agriculture material bins and feed gates as needed including but not limited to cutting patch plates with oxy/acetylene torch and welding in place with SMAW, other forms of welding (GMAW/FCAW) and fabricating as needed for large repair projects, changing pneumatic cylinders for gate control, checking and changing air control (mac and ascgo) valves, checking and replacing air lines, replacing gate units that are beyond repair, rebuilding or replacing pneumatic bin vibrator units. Checking and cleaning/replacing filters and piping for dust collector systems as well as baghouse systems on silos. Testing and replacing load cells for water scale and agriculture load bin scale. Making repairs to load hopper as needed i.e welding patches, replacing hopper boots or cement boots, and replacing wear plates. Testing and repair of all electrical control systems at both 240v and 480v single and three phase. Testing and replacing motor starters and other plant control systems. Installing and servicing electro-pneumatic high light audio/visual warning and silo overfill protection pinch valve systems. Repairing and replacing both threaded steel and PVC pressurized and drainage piping. Performing required air compressor service and repairs. Repairing and replacing propane and natural gas squirrel cage style heaters and infernotherm heater controls. Performing other facilities repairs around plants such as electrical switches/outlets, lighting repairs and LED system retrofits, plumbing repairs, etc. Using service vehicle to travel between the companies nine different plants to perform these various tasks at whichever plant they are needed at. Operating man lift, load-all, skid steer, front end loader, and any other equipment required to perform these job functions while employing all OSHA regulated safety standards.

Perform daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual PMs on machines and equipment. Repairs of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Working with both low pressure (100-120psi) air systems and high pressure (570-600psi) air systems. Working with process and chilled water loop systems. Working with 480v systems and working with transformers that adjust voltage to 400v, 240v, and 120v. Installing and using VFDs for some of the imported equipment. Working with, diagnosing, and repairing 3 phase motors. Assisting operators with machine functions on plastic injection and blow molding equipment. Understanding the functions and operating systems used on plastic injection, blow molding, automated bagging and palletizing robot, and automated wrapping machines and equipment and how to troubleshoot and repair them. Overseeing operators and delegating tasks as necessary. Dealing directly with quality control personnel and personally performing quality inspections in a quality lab to insure good product.

Oversee crews during on site construction of industrial warehouse automated conveyor systems, automated picking systems, pallet rack storage systems, and mezzanines. Work alongside laborers in constructing machines and equipment. Adhere to safety guidelines and OSHA regulations. Operate fork lifts, high reaches, pallet jacks, overhead cranes, and scissor lifts as well as use various hand tools. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for the construction of various types of equipment. Proper and precise measuring using precision measuring tools for the set up and installation checking of equipment before testing operations. Schedule equipment and vehicle maintenance.

Installed automated and robotic conveyor systems, sorting systems, palletizers, baggers, wrappers, roll in trailer loaders, mezzanines, garbage chutes, etc. Custom cut and fit conveyor beds, siding, guards, and other generic materials. Custom fabricate drop beds, siding, and other forms of conveyor beds from provided materials to match blueprints or to fix an issue in conveyor systems operations. Lace and track conveyor belts. Install and assemble robotic equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic operating systems. Install and calibrate photocells, safety relays, fiber optics. Test functions of all mechanical, electrical, robotic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and adjust or repair as needed. Operate fork lifts, pallet jacks, scissor lifts, boom lifts, floor cranes, and other warehouse/construction equipment. Use hand tools and power tools including but not limited to band saws, sawz-alls, grinders, drills, impacts, magnetic drill presses, hydraulic hole punchers, hammer drills, and more. Use electrical testing equipment such as multimeters and onboard diagnostic equipment. On site welding (typically SMAW) and fabrication as needed. Read and interpret blueprints and building/installation instructions. Repairing all forms of automated systems as well as retrofitting outdated systems or tearing down and replacing them with new ones. Adhering to all company safety and OSHA guidelines.
