It is my view as a Production manager it is my duty to provide a safe and friendly work environment for my staff, being a advocate for there needs and providing the tools for them to meet my request. My direct involvement in production should be a limited to my personal need to have hands on to insure I am not asking my people to do what cannot be done, so getting into the line a couple times a week I think keeps me real with what is mathematically possible vs real world.
