Assess goals of projects assigned to determine how to execute repairs and services Supervise and manage other employees when assigned field work and large-scale jobs Manage planning and execution of large- scale jobs for the shop Use time management to plan projects to make deadlines Perform maintenance on all shop equipment such as oiling and lubricating, troubleshooting malfunctions, and completing minor/major repairs Follow plans and instructions presented to carry out projects assigned Use problem solving and out of the box thinking to complete assigned projects Use of math to draw designs and plans Use stick, TIG, and MIG welding to manufacture items and components Weld or join metal and other materials into a wide range of structures and implements Use computer programs such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, QCAD and Bend Tech to design implements, structures and other projects Use heavy shop machinery including plasma table, press brake, welders etc. Requisition cost effective supplies and items for equipment maintenance/repair as needed Keep all work areas cleaned and organized Use appropriate PPE and safety procedures Safely operate equipment such as forklift, sky lift, manlift, mini excavator and others as needed Adhere to company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures

Collaborate with growers to create and follow spray schedules and fertilizer applications Maintain an updated and accurate maintenance/repair log on all machines for reference purposes Calibrate equipment by recommendation, work order, direct verbal orders or previous records Deliver application equipment as directed by Salesperson, customer or Supervisor Keep detailed notes of past applications for recalibration purposes, rate adjustments and past year references Report and repair emergency maintenance problems and/or environmental hazards immediately Adhere to company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures Utilize a Class A license with full endorsements in order to deliver fertilizers and pesticides to the customer’s desired location Perform maintenance on all shop equipment such as oiling and lubricating, troubleshooting malfunctions, and completing minor/major repairs Maintain a clean and safe work environment Operate company vehicles in a safe and courteous manner in accordance with the safety policy manual Report any equipment/vehicle problems or concerns to supervisor immediately
