In accordance with FAA requirements, conduct initial and recurrent flight and ground training for VFR and SPIFR HAA operations. Conduct annual Part 135.293, 297, and 299 check rides. Conduct semi-annual IIMC recovery training.

Focus on the instruction and implementation of Crew Resource Management (CRM) on the ground and in flight. Conduct initial and annual refresher training and flight evaluations.

Trained in advanced aerodynamics, structures, Operational Risk Management and mishap investigation techniques at the School of Aviation Safety in Pensacola, Florida. Upon completing the course, was responsible to assist the Commanding Officer in the investigation and prevention of mishaps.

Support the Marine Air-Ground Task Force Commander by providing assault support transport of heavy equipment, combat troops, and supplies, day or night under all weather conditions during expeditionary, joint, or combined operations. Provided support using internal and external transport of supplies, air-to-air refueling, and night/NVG operations.

Learn the basics of fixed and rotary wing aviation. Trained on the T-34C and TH-57B/C for day and night, VFR and IFR operations. Attained Commercial Instrument Helicopter and Single Engine Land ratings.
