Current- Manage the City of Middletown social media accounts and posts engaging content of news and information, resulting in first year increases of social media presence by 39.75% (Reach), 59.33% (Follows), and 155.8% (Visits).- Plan historic and successful ceremonies and events, such as the groundbreaking ceremonies for the $200 million Renaissance Pointe project, $7 million renovation and expansion of the Robert “Sonny” Hill Community Center, and the annual State of the City Address.- Oversee the media relations of the city, including being interviewed on different topics and city initiatives. Outlets and publications include the Cincinnati Enquirer, Journal-News, all local television news stations, Fox News, Le Monde (France), VG (Norway), Politico, and many more. Managed increase in media attention in light of Republican Vice-Presidential Nominee J.D. Vance.- Serve as editor, publisher, and writer of the Middletown NOW quarterly newsletter, writing stories on city successes and projects, including in the areas of public safety, health, economic development, community events, and the like. Print circulation ~18,000.-Write engaging storytelling deliverables, such as the entire State of the City address, press releases, social media posts, newspaper op-eds, newsletter stories, marketing copy, and the like.
