Rainbow Reservoirs is a premium supplier of circular, modular steel reservoirs up to 4ML. They provide water (liquid) storage solutions to the mining, industrial, commercial, agricultural and domestic/rural markets throughout Africa and the world.My duties revolved primarily around client contract management which included: client communication and project planning, supplier follow ups, site inspections, project risk assessments, scope of works development and installation team dispatching. I was also actively involved in the installation of the reservoirs both locally and internationally.As an installation supervisor I had regular meetings with the client/construction supervisors on site ensuring accurate placement and installation of the reservoirs. I was the registered safety o cer, fire fighter, first aider and quality inspector on all installation jobs I supervised. Other training I received was working at heights, sca olding inspector/erector and working in confined spaces.Additional duties included the migration & management of all product costing sheets from Microsoft Excel to Sheets/GSuite. This allowed for full automation and integration of raw material pricing changes to auto-update all product BOMs (bill of materials) and allow for accurate cost data analysis. Lastly, I also programmed and managed the sheet metal punching machine which pre-punched all the steel panels before they were rolled and profiled.At Rainbow I successfully installed over 50 reservoirs across South Africa as well as Zambia and on two occasions in the Philippines.

With over 100% growth year on year since 2017 they’ve become a major player in the tech space in South Africa.I was the team leader of a project team of 5 developers, developing custom software solutions, and reported directly to the business unit (BU) director. My duties centered around project and developer management but also included extensive client service management which encompassed onboarding, scoping sessions, expectation management and handovers.My main focus was full-scale solution development including: documentation development (sales proposals, statements of work, training manuals), task/developer management (sprint management, development timelines/deliverables), QA Control (bug tracking and product testing), project control and risk management.A key objective of mine was to ensure e cient resource planning and management with the BU director. Fortnightly project reporting schedules allowed for oversight of multiple projects and preemptive planning ensuring projects ran smoothly, on time and on budget.My core competencies at SovTech included the ability to manage individuals as well as teams remotely across di erent global locations. The ability to delegate responsibilities whilst remaining accountable as the team leader. Reliable client relationship and project management using PM tools such as Jira, Harvest, Slack, Discord, G Suite, Trello, Zoho, Bonusly. I was also actively involved in project design development using tools such as Invision, Draw.io, Zeplin and Sketch.
