Planned and scheduled the manufacturing process of wire and cable.Established consolidation procedures for extrusion, improving efficiency, and reducing start up and bleed out scrap by 3%.Developed and implemented clear, accurate and effective daily schedules utilizing Qlikview and excel for the Conductor, Extrusion, Irradiation, Cable Twist, Cable Respool and Drum Pack Departments, increasing communication, productivity and allocation of resources while reducing scrap. Ran a tandem high temp aerospace extruder on 3rd shift with high productivity, quality workmanship and great attendance. Extruded compound onto wire from 24 gauge to 16 gauge placing 2 layers of insulation on tin, silver and nickel plated wire while removing and marking any defects and charting CPK's on every job.Trained 3rd shift extruder operators on CPK charting to help obtain ISO9000 certification.

Cable Respool Operator on 3rd shift with high productivity, quality workmanship and great adherence. Respooling master reels down into final packaging reels while removing any defects and performing spark, dielectric continuity test and locating shorts in the wire. Last operation prior to Quality Assurance. Had very high productivity along with high quality workmanship.

Working Lead Conductor Operator for a 3 operator work team on 3rd shift. Ran 6 Fine Draw machines drawing 14 gauge copper wire down to as small as 34 gauge. Coaching and assisting the Tin Line and Buncher Operator as needed. Communicated with 2nd and 1st shifts on the production schedule, and any maintenance, quality and operator call-ins that may have impacted production.
