His focus was to enhance the customer proposition and deliver scale as the market transitions towards digitisation, decentralisation and decarbonisation by effective planning, directing and implementing their successful delivery strategy to create profitability for the business and great customer experiences.Clayton lead, coordinated and managed support functions such as Health & Safety, Supply Chain, Engineering, Procurement, and other internal business stakeholders to ensure holistic operational efficiency. He was fully responsible for the execution of energy solution projects from sales to customerhandover that wee delivered to budget, high quality, on time, ZERO safety incidents and best in class customer experience through the entire project portfolio and lifecycle.

Clayton's role as the General Manager of Delivery within Solgen was to manage the successful delivery of the company's continuously large portfolio of projects and asset management function(+168MW of renewable energy spread across +1,100 projects during his tenure). His focus was to enable further growth for Solgen by ensuring efficient and high quality delivery of current services, and to develop capabilities within the nation wide Project Delivery Team to enable delivery of new services to keep Solgen at the forefront of the industry into the future. Clayton’s role within this project:• Design & Engineering process collaboration from ECI phase and through to contract execution with client. • PVSyst PR Simulations & LCOE Financial Reports, and Performance Guarantee contractual development and management for Client. • Assisted the design teams through to 30% and 60% design phases with the construction experience approached to value engineering. • Responsible for meeting cultural heritage, environmental protection,and development permitting requirements.• The Project’s Coordination & Control Manager onsite and the fill in for Construction Manager while on FIFO, managing superintendents and maintained communication link between design team and construction team. • Oversee the Quality Control team and software for proper completion of tasks and handover packages. • Assist with the Site Safety Operations through further development of process improvements, risk mitigation, safe work method statements, and the Workplace Health and Safety Plan. Clayton managed the utility scale solar and hybrid project development, construction, and commissioning delivery. Leading the in-house engineering team, managing procurement and construction processes while implementing new structure and innovations. Also responsible for developing quality control and OHSE procedures, policies, and documentation along with full management plan execution. During his tenure with Clay Energy, he was responsible for the development of projects in the Fiji Islands, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, and New Zealand.

As a Founder(and present shareholder), Clayton built the business to successfully complete many high level turnkey design/build projects and acted as the main design consultant on several large scale solar farms. He's responsible for business operations, project development processes, project scheduling and tracking, design financial and interconnection feasibility studies, overseeing engineering and procurement stages, managed tendering to subcontractors, and complete construction activities of high DOD security projects and many others focused heavily on solar photovoltaic, hybrid generation, energy efficiency and infrastructure.
