As a Lead Environmental Permitting Specialist at LS Power, I independently work on large-scale transmission and renewable energy projects in California, coordinating with Federal (NEPA, CWA, ESA, MTBA, BGEPA), California State (CEQA, GO 131-D, GO 95), and local government agencies and stakeholders to obtain permits and approvals. I have successfully navigated complex environmental regulations and requirements for several projects within California. I have a Bachelor of Science in Geological/Geophysics from Missouri University of Science and Technology, where I studied advanced geochemistry, geophysics, and geology. I have also worked as a Project Manager/Field Geologist at Terracon Consultants, where I managed due diligence (Phase I and Phase II), property condition assessments, and industrial hygiene (lead, asbestos, air quality) investigations. I have 4+ years of experience managing and leading projects independently, with minimal oversight.
