Working with CommandPost as an Industry Specialist to manage the development of plans and materials assisting current and prospective clients. A key focus of this role is establishing documentation and processes to ensure robust, efficient, and scalable mechanisms are in place to best support the Major Events sector. It requires not just a technical understanding of our software, but also needs a focus on developing materials and refining processes. This approach is key in ensuring a consistent and positive user experience across our services.

During my time with ACES Group I worked as a Senior Control Room Operator/ Ranger at Infrastructure NSW / Barangaroo Delivery Authority; Control Room Operator at NSW Place Management (Darling Harbour & The Rocks) and in a Supervisory capacity across multiple major events and venues. Working with ACES Group, my duties included, but were not limited to: supervising teams of staff, working on critical incident response teams, access control, coordinating control room operations, customer service management, crowd management, traffic control and hazard and risk identification. I always maintain a high level of professionalism, as well as constantly dealing with competing deadlines and meeting client and management expectations.

During my contract I was responsible for Administrational and Site Management requirements within the site, including site planning, coordinating crew roster requirements, site build and maintenance, supervising crew and event staff, supporting management staff and liaising with key stakeholders, including landowners, emergency services, Government Coordination Centre (GCC) and the client – Destination NSW, a NSW Government Agency.

In my role with VIPeople, I worked across dozens of venues and major events within the Central Coast and Greater Sydney Area.
